• Make sure people and pets are prepared to stay out of the home during service and for four hours after treatment.

People and pets must be out of the home during the flea service and for four hours after treatment, or longer if instructed based on product label requirements or site conditions.

After returning, allow treated areas to fully dry before allowing pets or children onto surfaces.

Do not mop treated floor edges, baseboards, or treated areas immediately after service unless instructed. Cleaning treated areas too soon can reduce the effectiveness of the residual product.

Do not apply over-the-counter flea sprays, foggers, powders, or other products after professional treatment unless instructed. These products can interfere with the treatment plan and may create unnecessary exposure or make the issue harder to manage.

Homeowner cooperation is one of the biggest parts of successful flea control.

Helpful steps include:

• Keep pets on a veterinarian-approved flea prevention plan.

• Vacuum daily or frequently during active infestations.
